Synthesis of 2,3-Butanedione Tertbutyl-thiosemicarbazone (BDMO-tBTSC) and Characterization By 500 MHz NMR Spectrometer

Abstract

This work reports the synthesis of a new, never before reported molecule, which is 2, 3-butanedione monoxime tertbutyl-thiosemicarbazone (BDMO-tBTSC), and its characterization by a proton NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance spectroscopy), carbon-13 NMR, and HSQC (Heteronuclear Single Quantum Coherence) NMR data collected on a new 500 MHz Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectrometer. The multinuclear NMR data supports our proposed structure for the new molecule.
